Once you get in touch with us, we’ll assign a dedicated travel consultant to shape your wildlife holidays in India and oversee your dream journey from start to finish.
If our standard India wildlife tour packages don't entirely meet your expectations, we can design a custom one that does. Let us know your preferred activities and sights you'd like to explore, and we'll handle the rest. Whether you prefer a standard itinerary or a more personalised experience, we have an India wildlife tour package to suit your needs.
Once your itinerary is finalised, we lock in your safari permits, lodges, and internal transfers well ahead of your departure — so there are zero documentation errors and nothing left to chance when you land in India.
RAP Safaris is led by Rakesh Arora, an Indian-origin, Sydney-based wildlife photographer who has spent years documenting India’s tigers, lions, and lesser-known wild corners. Every tour is personally designed and escorted by Rakesh, combining his eye for photography with deep, on-ground knowledge of India’s national parks. We keep groups small, handle every permit and booking detail before you leave Australia, and pre-select the zones with the best recent sighting activity — so your trip is built around real wildlife intelligence, not guesswork. From tigers in Ranthambhore to Asiatic lions in Gir and snow leopards in Ladakh, we bring you closer to India’s wild heart, responsibly and comfortably.
Enquiry NowYes, citizens of Australia require a visa to enter India.
You can apply for an e-Tourist Visa online before your trip through the official government portal: Indian e-Visa Website. It is recommended to apply at least 4 to 7 days before your departure.
We cap our groups at 6–8 people maximum, with a private jeep for your group so you’re never sharing a sighting with strangers. If you’re travelling solo, as a couple, or as a family, we can also arrange a private departure.
We recommend booking at least 3–4 months ahead, especially for peak season (October to June) and for parks like Ranthambhore and Gir where permits are limited and sell out quickly. Booking early also gives us more flexibility to secure the best lodges and jeep slots for your group.
Whether you’re chasing your first tiger sighting in Ranthambhore or planning a once-in-a-lifetime search for snow leopards in Ladakh, your journey starts with a conversation. Tell us what you want to see, and we’ll design a fully escorted, eco-friendly safari around it — no templates, no guesswork, just India’s wild heart, seen the right way.
