Overview
Best season for:
Ranthambore – Jawai: Oct. to June
Bharatpur: Oct. to Feb.
Ranthambhore’s habitat is a captivating blend of diverse terrain — from rugged hill slopes and valleys to expansive plains and plateaus, all interspersed with serene water bodies. This varied landscape supports a thriving tiger population and contributes to the park’s rich biodiversity. Scattered across this wilderness are relics and ruins that echo its royal past, adding a layer of historical intrigue to every vista.
For photographers, especially those keen on portraiture, Ranthambhore offers exceptional opportunities. The wildlife here, particularly the mammals, are remarkably accustomed to human presence, allowing for intimate, close-up shots without disturbing their natural behaviour. Even the most commonly seen animals present themselves in stunning ways, offering frame after frame of evocative beauty and character
