Day 1

  • Arrive at Guwahati and drive 159 km via Samdrup Jonkar to Narphu through scenic warm broadleaf forest.
  • Birding stops en route with opportunities to spot species such as Little Bunting, Rufous-bellied Eagle, Rufous-throated Partridge, Crimson-breasted Woodpecker, Wreathed Hornbill, Grey Wagtail, Kingfishers, Black-backed Forktail, Mountain Hawk Eagle, Tibetan Siskin, White-browed Shrike Babbler, Darjeeling Woodpecker, and Laughingthrush varieties.
  • Overnight in Tashigang.

Day 2

  • Early morning departure from Tashigang to Yongkola with birding stops at hotspots like Korila.
  • Key sightings may include Rufous-necked Hornbill, Bhutan Laughingthrush, Black-faced and White-throated Laughingthrushes, Pygmy Blue Flycatcher, Blue-throated Flycatcher, Green Magpie, Hill Prinia, Grey-winged Blackbird, Brown-throated Treecreeper, Little Bunting, and Wallcreeper.
  • Overnight in Yongkola.

Day 3

  • Morning birding around Namling and nearby areas.
  • Possible encounters include Mountain Scops Owl, Hill and Chestnut-breasted Partridge, Ward’s Trogon, Collared and Asian Barred Owlet, Golden and Rufous-capped Babblers, Yellow-rumped Honeyguide, Himalayan Bulbul, Red-flanked Bluetail, Green-tailed Sunbird, Yuhinas, White-tailed Nuthatch, Darjeeling Woodpecker, Oriental Honey Buzzard, and various Fulvettas.
  • Birding around Yongkola and Lingmethang with chances to spot Greater Rufous-headed Parrotbill, Sultan Tit, Slaty-backed Forktail, Crested Serpent Eagle, Little Pied Flycatcher, Mountain Bulbul, Red-faced Liocichla, Rusty-fronted Barwing, and Sapphire Flycatcher.

Day 4

  • Early Start: Drive north, crossing Sengor village and Thrumshing La Pass (3,700 m).
  • Route Highlight: From Yongkola to Sengor, enter Thrumshing La National Park.
  • Scenic Stop: Picturesque waterfall before Sengor.
  • Full-Day Birding: Possible sightings include: Snow Pigeon, Blood Pheasant, Satyr Tragopan, Monal Pheasant, Whiskered Yuhina, Stripe-throated Yuhina, Rufous-vented Yuhina, Dark-rumped Rosefinch, Lemon-rumped Warbler, Ashy-throated Warbler, Broad-billed Warbler, Rufous-capped Babbler, Green Shrike Babbler, Rusty-flanked Treecreeper, Streaked Laughingthrush, Spotted Forktail, Spotted Laughingthrush, Black-faced Laughingthrush, Great Barbet, and many other species.

Day 5

  • Possible sightings include Red-headed Bullfinch, Crimson-browed Finch, Collared Grosbeak, Grey-crested Tit, Rufous-vented Tit, Gold-naped Finch, Fire-tailed Myzornis, Brown Parrotbill, Fulvous Parrotbill, Spotted Laughingthrush, Black-faced Laughingthrush, Golden-breasted Fulvetta, Great Parrotbill, Brown Bullfinch, and many other species.

Day 5

  • Tingti–Gomphu: Great Hornbill, Long-tailed Sibia, Beautiful Nuthatch, Rufous-necked Hornbill, White-rumped Munia, Spotted Forktail, Slaty-backed Forktail, Grey Bushchat, Crested Bunting, Sultan Tit, Yellow-checked Tit, Red-vented Bulbul, Black Bulbul, Striated Prinia, Hill Prinia, Mountain Tailorbird, Hume’s Warbler, White-crested Laughingthrush, Rusty-checked Scimitar Babbler, Striated Laughingthrush, Scaly Laughingthrush, Bhutan Laughingthrush, Streak-breasted Scimitar Babbler, Slender-billed Scimitar Babbler, Stripe-throated Yuhina.

Day 6

  • Tingti–Gomphu: Great Hornbill, Long-tailed Sibia, Beautiful Nuthatch, Rufous-necked Hornbill, White-rumped Munia, Spotted Forktail, Slaty-backed Forktail, Grey Bushchat, Crested Bunting, Sultan Tit, Yellow-checked Tit, Red-vented Bulbul, Black Bulbul, Striated Prinia, Hill Prinia, Mountain Tailorbird, Hume’s Warbler, White-crested Laughingthrush, Rusty-checked Scimitar Babbler, Striated Laughingthrush, Scaly Laughingthrush, Bhutan Laughingthrush, Streak-breasted Scimitar Babbler, Slender-billed Scimitar Babbler, Stripe-throated Yuhina.

Day 7

  • Zhemgang Dakpai – Nobding – Thimphu
  • Route & Elevation: Birding from Tingtibi (600m) to Zhemgang (1900m) — 34 km travel
  • Habitat: Subtropical & warm broadleaf forests
  • Target Bird Species: White-browed Scimitar Babbler, Rusty-checked Scimitar Babbler, Great Hornbill, Rufous-necked Hornbill, Beautiful Nuthatch, Black Bulbul, White-bellied Heron, Barred Cuckoo Dove, Black Drongo, Fulvous-breasted Woodpecker, Chestnut-bellied Nuthatch, Spangled Drongo, Lesser Racket-tailed Drongo, Greater Necklaced Laughingthrush, White-throated Bulbul, Maroon Oriole, White-hooded Babbler, Nepal House Martin, Sultan Tit, Black-winged Cuckooshrike, White-browed Shrike-Babbler, Ashy Drongo, Yellow-cheeked Tit, Red-tailed Minla, Nepal Fulvetta, Golden Babbler, Grey-throated Babbler, Slender-billed Scimitar Babbler, Chestnut-crowned Warbler, Yellow-vented Warbler, Striated Yuhina, Streaked Spiderhunter, Large Woodshrike, Crimson Sunbird.
  • Activities: Morning: Birding in subtropical broadleaf forest north of Tingtibi, Evening: Return to campsite

Day 8

  • Thimpu – Siliguri: Early morning birding around Thimpu, breakfast at hotel, transfer to Siliguri (7 hrs drive).

Day 9

  • Post breakfast drop to Bagdogra Aiport for your onward flight.

Tour Ends but Memory Remains
  • Please note that the day-wise itinerary may change depending upon the season/weather conditions/activities of birds in and around the surrounding areas, the decision of the local guide will be final in such cases.
  • Please note departure to be advised as per your international flights and accommodation will be organised for your departure.
  • Any other expenses apart from the above will have to be borne by the participants
  • As all the Safaris in the Indian National Park are booked 120 Days in advance before your departure,
    kindly pay in advance to secure your safari.
  • If a solo guest wishes to share a room, we will do our best to match them with another guest of the same gender. If we cannot match a solo guest with another guest of the same gender, then the single supplement will be charged.

  • 25% of the Package Cost is required to be paid at the time of Booking (non-refundable).
  • 75% of the total package cost will be refunded on cancellation before 90 days prior to Safari Date.
  • 50% of the total package cost will be refunded on cancellation before 60 days prior to Safari Date.
  • 25% of the total package cost will be refunded on cancellation before 45 days prior to Safari Date.
  • No Refund on cancellation within 45 days prior to Safari Date.
